Notice of Public Hearings on March 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Bruce Townhall

Bruce Township Board of Adjustment will continue the variance request hearing for Mr. Mehle.

Mr. Mehle is requesting a variance from the height ordinance. He is proposing to build a storage barn with a loft and have 12-foot garage doors. The present ordinance has a limit of 18 ft height, and he is requesting to build his storage barn 28 ft height. 

All people are invited to attend this public hearing and have the opportunity to express their opinions. Written, signed comments can be sent to Bruce Township, 26234 285th Ave. Long Prairie, MN 56347. These will be read at the hearing and the Board of Adjustment will take them into consideration when making their decision.

Bruce Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on March 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. to hear a Conditional Use request from Great River Energy to construct approximately two miles of new overhead 115-kV transmission line in Sections 22,27 and 24 of Bruce Township. All persons are invited to attend this Public Hearing.

Bruce Township Board of Supervisors will hold a Public Hearing on March 11, 2025 at 11:00 to hear a Conditional Use request from Donald Repp, section 36 of Bruce Township to build a second residence on a gov. 40.  All persons are invited to attend this Public Hearing.

 NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL MEETING FOR BRUCE TOWNSHIP

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Bruce Township, County of Todd, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 .

In case of inclement weather, the meeting may be postponed until the third Tuesday, March 18,2025.  In case of inclement weather on that date, a new date will be set and posted on the website and published in the Long Prairie Leader.

The Annual Meeting will commence at 7:00 p.m. to conduct all necessary business prescribed by law.

The Annual Meeting will be held at the Bruce Townhall, 31861 Grosbeak Rd, Long Prairie, MN 56347
